Q: How do I order books from MBS Direct?

A: Through an online Virtual Bookstore, students or families may purchase course materials in a convenient manner. The textbooks and course materials are decided upon by your school's staff and administration. Materials are arranged and posted on the Virtual Bookstore and correspond with each course, guaranteeing the correct book for each course. You have the option to choose among new, used, and when applicable, digital materials.

Q: Can I sell books back to MBS Direct?

A: Yes, MBS Direct has the nation's leading buyback program. If books are in good condition after an academic term, we can offer top-dollar for books. In addition, we have a Guaranteed Buyback program that will list the buyback value before you purchase course materials. Returning customers will enjoy a Customer Loyalty Bonus that will be added to the buyback total—just for buying from and selling back to MBS Direct!

Q: Can I save money by purchasing course materials from MBS Direct?

A: Yes. Further explained in the two previous FAQs, used books, digital books (eBooks), Customer Loyalty program, and Guaranteed Buyback were all developed to save you the most money. In addition, FastPass Ordering is a way to save money and time because you bypass your school's Virtual Bookstore, and can still take advantage of our money-saving programs.

Q: Do you offer study aids for students?

A: Yes. Through MBS Direct Recommendations and StudyTactics.com, you may purchase ancillary materials to supplement any course. If your school chooses to have the available Recommendations portion of the Virtual Bookstore available, you may purchase these learning aids before classes even begin. In some instances, we may offer learning aids to correspond with the textbook being used in the course.

Q: What is your returns policy?

You may return course materials purchased from MBS Direct up to two weeks after the order is received or two weeks after the first day of class, whichever is later. Any materials returned after this period will be checked in as a buyback. If there is no value on the items you returned, you will receive notification in the form of a letter or email.

Complete return instructions appear on the packing slip that comes with each order. Credit will be issued in the same manner that the payment was originally made. Allow two to three weeks for processing time.
