Client Representatives
The Client Service Representative is your everyday liaison, communicating all
business activity between your school and MBS Direct from coordinating
booklists and marketing activities to answering any questions that may arise.
These dedicated, long-term employees work in teams, meeting regularly to become
familiar with each other's clients to ensure that you experience consistency
and personal attention at all times.
Instructional Materials Coordinator
Instructional materials are extremely important tools for teachers.
During program implementation, your client service representative will provide
instructions on how to obtain these free materials. In the event you need
assistance, MBS Direct has a full-time Instructional Materials Coordinator who
will work directly with the publishers and insure you receive the needed
materials.
Course Pack Preparation and Custom Publishing
A course pack is a collection of materials taken from a myriad of different
sources, plus an instructor's own work and syllabus. In addition to having our
own multi-media duplication ability, we partner with
XanEdu, one of the largest copyright and duplication service companies
in the nation. Your client representative will assist you with your course pack
preparation and making the necessary copyright clearance requests.
MBS Direct Service Center
You and your staff may access a number of detailed, downloadable reports
including student order activity, and student financial aid history. Also,
faculty and others making textbook decisions will find the Edition Status
Report particularly useful. It takes current and future adoptions and matches
them to our database of nearly 300,000 titles, providing early warning of
potential inventory problems as well as prompting revisions based on publisher
announcements of new editions.

MBS Direct partner schools can offer students eContent delivery of faculty
produced materials, syllabi, and copyrighted items Partner schools can also
accept new registrations right through the first day of class with eChaptersT.
This product allows students to download the first few chapters of text - with
publisher approval - enabling them to keep up with course assignments until
their texts arrive. This is all done in a secure environment using various
electronic reader applications including Adobe and Microsoft. Students may
purchase eContent through the virtual bookstore.

This is an award-winning site that allows faculty to research course materials
and create an adoption list for their AP courses. In addition, faculty can
browse a database of publisher contact information, see a list of titles
pending release, stay informed with the "What's New" page, and create a custom
notebook to log titles of interest.

A free, comprehensive learning resource center relevant to students' classes
and assignments, STUDYtactics employs over 3,000 academic discipline areas and
offers over 10,000 academic resource links. This exceptional resource tool is
not limited to academia.
STUDYtactics allows students to go beyond mere research, helping them to explore
colleges, grad schools, tech schools, career opportunities, and the vehicles to
help them get there.
Student Financial Aid Ordering
Financial aid data can be provided to MBS Direct electronically or as a paper
voucher. We also support a secure Internet site for your financial aid office
to directly enter student grants for immediate use. The student financial aid
system allows for control of dollar expenditures and supports split-tendering
as well.
